With Oliver Reed, Samantha Eggar, Art Hindle. Made after a painful divorce, Cronenberg’s self-described is a fantastical Kramer vs. Kramer. The mother is involved in “psychoplasmics,” a treatment that leads to her literally (and graphically) giving birth to her rage.
