Set in World War I, England, Today We Live follows Diana Boyce-Smith (Joan Crawford), an English girl caught in a love triangle between British Naval Officer Claude (Robert Young) and the rugged American aviator Bogard (Gary Cooper). Faulkner provided dialogue for the film, making it the only film version of his work (“Turn About”) that he co-wrote.
