The Assassin's Blade

Zhu Yanzhi, the young daughter of a wealthy merchant, disguises her gender as a man to go into the mountains for grueling martial arts training with an elite clan. Soon, a strong connection is begins to develop between Zhu and her teacher, but any romantic pursuits would put her in danger of revealing her true identity. From the action director of Hero (2002) and House of Flying Daggers (2004), this sweeping comedy-romance crackles with action, danger, hidden identities, and unrequited love.
Tickets for Friday evening screenings: $12 ($9 for senior citizens and students / free for Museum members) and includes admission to the Museum's galleries, which are open until 8:00 p.m.
