The best of Spanish and Latin American short films from the festival, this diverse 75-minute selection was chosen from over five years of NYICFF short film programs. All films in this program are from or feature stories about Spain and Latin America. This program includes Luminaris (Juan Pablo Zaramella, Argentina), At the Opera (Juan Pablo Zaramella, Argentina), Grandmother (Carlos Smith Rovira, Colombia), My Queen (Cecilia Amado, Brazil), Lapus (Juan Pablo Zaramella, Argentina), Inflatable Granma (Telmo Esnal, Spain), Journey to Mars (Juan Pablo Zaramella, Argentina), Grandma Grasshopper (Denis Chapon, Bolivia/Denmark), and Fifteen (Liliana Torres, Mexico). In Spanish with English subtitles. Recommended for ages 9+.
Tickets are included with paid Museum admission on a first-come, first-served basis. Members at the Film Lover level and above may reserve tickets in advance.
