Jim Henson’s Muppets made appearances on Steve Allen and Jack Paar’s versions of The Tonight Show and began visiting Johnny Carson in the mid-1960s. Craig Shemin will present rarely seen highlights from Jim Henson and the Muppets’s various appearances with Johnny Carson through the years, including excerpts from the special 1979 episode of The Tonight Show guest-hosted by Kermit the Frog, and not broadcast since. This special screening is presented courtesy of Carson Entertainment. Program duration: 75 mins.
