The latest from filmmaker Meghna Gulzar (daughter of director/lyricist Gulzar) and writer-director-composer Vishal Bharadwaj, the stirring drama Talvar views a ripped-from-the-headlines story through the prism of three shifting perspectives. Based on one of the most talked about criminal cases in recent Indian history—known as Noida Double Murder Case—Talvar revolves around the mysterious murder of 14 year-old Aarushi Talwar. Talvar premiered at the 2015 Toronto Film Festival, and features powerful performances by the internationally renowned Irrfan Khan (Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi, Jurassic World), Konkona Sen Sharma (Omkara), and Tabu (The Namesake).
