Screening & Live Event
Henson in High Definition: The Early Years
With Craig Shemin and Karen Falk in person
In preparation for the Museum's new Henson exhibition and for the recently opened Jim Henson gallery at the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta, The Jim Henson Legacy (through a generous grant from The Jane Henson Foundation) has been creating new, high-definition masters of some of the rare films in the Jim Henson Company Collection stored at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Archive. Craig Shemin and Karen Falk (Jim Henson Company Archivist) will present beautiful new restorations of short films, animations, commercials, outtakes, and other “stuff,” some of which has been never screened publicly before.
