Return to Nuke ‘Em High, Volume 1

Part of Nuke ‘Em High Day
Saturday, July 15, 2017, 6:00 p.m.
Museum of the Moving Image - Redstone Theater

Introduced by Lloyd Kaufman, Catherine Corcoran, and Asta Paredes

Dir. Lloyd Kaufman. 2013, 85 mins. DCP. With Catherine Corcoran, Asta Paredes, Clay von Carlowitz. Welcome back to Tromaville High School where, unfortunately, the Glee Club has mutated into a vicious gang called The Cretins. Chrissy and Lauren, two innocent bloggers, must fight not only the Cretins and various mutants and monsters but also the evil Tromorganic Foodstuffs Conglomerate. The Troma team’s world is just as farcical and unrestrained in this sequel to Class of Nuke ‘Em High. As Jeannette Catsoulis wrote in The New York Times: “Fantasy breasts, radioactive goo, rampaging penises, epidemic flatulence and embarrassing genital conditions—where else could you be but in Tromaville High School?“
