With Josh and Benny Safdie, Robert Pattinson, Buddy Duress, and Tahlia Webster  in person

Dir. Josh and Benny Safdie. 2017. 100 mins. DCP. With Robert Pattinson, Benny Safdie. Jennifer Jason Leigh, Barkhad Abdi, Buddy Duress and Tahlia Webster. Directors Josh and Benny Safdie (Heaven Knows What, Daddy Longlegs) set their latest New York story throughout Queens. After a botched bank robbery lands his younger brother in prison, Constantine "Connie" Nikas (Robert Pattinson) embarks on a twisted odyssey through the city's underworld in an increasingly desperate—and dangerous—attempt to get his brother Nick (Benny Safdie) out of jail. Over the course of one adrenalized night, Connie finds himself racing against the clock to save his brother and himself, knowing both their lives hang in the balance. Featuring a career-peak performance by Robert Pattinson, a propulsive score by Oneohtrix Point Never, and arresting 35mm cinematography by Sean Price Williams.
