SENSORY FRIENDLY SCREENING
101 Dalmatians
Saturday, December 1, 2018, 11:00 a.m.
Museum of the Moving Image - Redstone Theater
Dir. Stephen Herek. 1996, 103 mins. 35mm. With Glenn Close, Jeff Daniels, Joan Plowright. Glenn Close plays the notorious, fabulously evil dognapper Cruella de Vil in this live-action adaptation of the beloved Disney classic. De Vil happens upon a litter of Dalmatian puppies and is convinced they will make the perfect fur coat. When their owners refuse to sell, she sends hired hands to steal them—and it is up to the puppies’ parents to rescue them. The dogs are cute, but Close steals the show as the hilariously over-the-top villainess. Recommended for ages 5+
Please note, this screening will be Sensory Friendly with the lights left on, but dimmed, and volume lower.
