Carina (Dir. Sandra Concepción Reynoso Estrada. 2014, 12 mins.) Carina is 8 and likes rock & roll. Her life changes completely when she believes that her new teacher is the same woman she saw in her father’s erotic magazine.

The Tiger’s Fight / El Tigre y la Flor (Dir. Denisse Quintero. 2016, 16 mins.) After a year of drought, best friends Nicolas and Pablo prepare for “The Tiger’s Fight,” a prehispanic ritual where the village men fight each other to imitate thunder and bring rain, hoping for a good harvest. Some of the tigers also deliver commitment flowers to a girl as a sign of love. This year, Nicolas has decided to offer flowers not to a girl, but to Pablo.

A Eulogy for Polly / Un obituario para Polly (Dir. Jose Alberto Cerrillo. 2015, 15 mins.) Navi, a cabaret singer, gets ready to leave the house to join a funeral procession and bid farewell to his recently deceased partner, on stage and in life, Polly. As he searches for a missing shoe he is convinced he can still feel Polly’s presence and the memories of their short time together begin to haunt him.

Marven, Lady Tacos de Canasta (Dir. Rodrigo Crespo. 2018, 12 mins.) Marven, also known as “Lady Tacos de Canasta," is a trans woman that, aside from selling tacos in order to make ends meet, is also fully committed to fighting for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community in Mexico.

Un amor en rebeldía (Tania Claudia. 2018, 14 mins.) In the late 1970s, Yan María Castro founded the first lesbian-feminist group in Mexico. Within a climate of discrimination and repression, Yan María and her group organized a political movement to win their place in society.
