 Originally released in the United Kingdom under the title Pop Gear\, this 
 brightly toned musical revue\, a unique genre item presented in both 'Scop
 e and color\, is bookended with rare live footage of The Beatles at the AB
 C Cinema in Manchester\, November 1963. The rest of the show is a Who’s Wh
 o of British Invasion acts\, from better-known bands The Animals and Herma
 n’s Hermits to since-forgotten outfits like The Honeycomb\, and change-of-
 pace interludes provided by cabaret crooner Matt Monro (“From Russia With
