 capitalize on the resurgence of popularity for science-fiction films in th

 vel of grandeur. The result proved a commercial disappointment for the stu
 dio\, but seen from today’s vantage point\, with its marvelous special eff
 ects courtesy Douglas Trumbull and a script that is long on hokey speculat
 ive themes and short on action\, this film constitutes a refreshingly auth
 entic Star Trek experience. Recommended for ages 8+\n\n\n	\n		Order ticket
