New York City Greek Film Festival
October 1722, 2014 The eigth annual New York City Greek Film Festival opens at Museum of the Moving Image with six new feature films and a special evening with the acclaimed director Pantelis Voulgaris in person. Highlights include the bittersweet romantic comedy Committed, the taut thriller The Enemy Within (winner of Best Director and Best Screenplay at this year's Hellenic Film Awards), and September, an unpredictable drama about a woman who seeks her neighbor's company after the death of her dog. The Festival's exciting lineup reflects the current renaissance in Greek cinema, with films that are receiving attention around the world.
