Dir. Yorgos Tsemberopoulos. 2013, 107 mins. DCP. With Manolis Mavromatakis, Maria Zorba, Yiorgos Gallos. A man finds his life-long beliefs challenged after thugs invade his home and rape his daughter. Prodded by a militaristic neighbor, he takes the law into his own hands, alienating his family and bringing more violence into their lives. This taut thriller won three 2014 Hellenic Film Academy Awards for Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Editing.
