The winner of the Best Documentary Award at the Hellenic Film Academy, A Family Affair focuses on three generations of the famed Xylouris family as they perform for admiring fans all over the world, upholding their sacred bond to the vibrant musical tradition of Crete. Exploring the generational divides that define family relationships, demand change, and create a living musical culture, this documentary shows how a family and a country can find their voice.
